We have some good news for AT&T customers, as it looks like they are about to expand their 4G LTE network. AT&T is expected to be launching 4GE LTE in 12 additional markets as soon as early summer this year, which will include both large and smaller cities.
AT&T will be launching 4G LTE to the following markets:
- Naples, FL
- Bloomington, IN
- Lafayette, IN
- Muncie, IN
- Baton Rouge, LA
- New Orleans, LA
- St. Louis, MO
- Staten Island, NYC
- Akron, OH
- Canton, OH
- Cleveland, OH
- Bryan-College Station, TX
While AT&T has not shared any specific dates with us just yet, this is expected to begin sometime in April and will continue until May. With many new LTE devices expected to launch in the coming months, this is great news for AT&T customers. When they have finished expanding 4G LTE to these markets, that will give AT&T over 40 LTE markets and over 76 million Americans covered on their network.
