Well what do we have here? It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no! It’s the MeCam nanocopter, a flying device being developed by Always Innovating. This little guy is voice-controlled and even has a video camera on deck which can be set to “follow” mode, feeding video and streams to Android devices. Oh yeah, apparently iOS users can play with this toy too.
Your video or panorama shots taken with the MeCam can easily be shared with your friends through Google+, YouTube, Facebook, and other social media sites. The device is still being developed, so for now we don’t have a lot of info yet. The device will have a Cortex A9 processor (1 to 1.5GHZ), 1GB of RAM, Wi-Fi & Bluetooth connectivity and it will have an SD card slot for storage. We can expect to see this device launched sometime 1st quarter of 2014, but as of now the design company has not made an agreement with a manufacturer.
We do know the device will be budget friendly, as it’s expected to sell for only $49. I just recently watched on the news how easy it is for hackers to spy on you through your laptop webcam, this could get interesting! Check out the video below to see more.
