Netflix rolls out new update for Android, brings tablet UI to phones

Netflix has recently rolled out a new update, bringing a much improved user interface to Android. Basically Netflix has taken the tablet UI and brought it to Android phones, allowing a wider selection of movies and TV shows onto your screen. Recently watched content will display at the top of the list, with personalized suggestions toward the bottom of your screen. Just under the 1op 10 list the Instant Queue will be displayed.

The browse menu included gives a nice selection of genres to choose from, with a ton of titles organized into categories – including family and kids gallery with movies and TV shows, all with age specific categories. Tapping on a title brings up relevant information, and a touble-tap to the title will fire up the show.

Hit up the video below for more, and if you’re a Netflix customer be sure to check out the new update.
