Oakley Android Ski Goggles Oakleys new Android powered Airwave ski goggles available now

Damn, so who’s ready to hit the slopes with Android? Oakley has recently released their new Airwave ski goggles. The goggles are powered by Android, which you can grab now for $599.95. So what do $600 shades get you? All sorts of  fun shit to play with! The goggles include maps, temperature, jump analytics, speed, playlists and even a friend location feature. Oakley said, “The information will appear unobtrusively, as though you’re looking at a 14-inch monitor from a distance of five feet.

While using the Airwave goggles you can easily pair them up with the Android app with bluetooth, which displays messages, phone calls and playlist info. The Oakley Airwave app is available now in the Google Play Store, but said to be limited for functionality. As of yet, the only options listed on the screen shot are Trip Viewer, Buddy Tracking, Music Player and Device Pairing.

I wonder if the Airwave goggles will include warnings for trees? Hit the video below to see more.
