Looks like AT&T is set to launch a new Honeycomb tablet from Pantech, known as the Pantech Element which will be available on AT&T’s 4G LTE network on January 8th. The device is expected to sell for $299.99 on a 2 year agreement, and retails for $450.
The new tablet looks to have some very impressive specs, and even features IP57 waterproof rating. No, that doesn’t mean you can go out and submerge this tablet under water although it is splash resistant. The Element also features an 8-inch display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, Android 3.2 Honeycomb, 16GB of internal storage, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera capable of recording video at 720P, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera capable of recording video at 1080P, and more.
