In case you weren’t already aware, the Galaxy S III is officially here. Yesterday the successor to the Galaxy S II was announced by Samsung at an event in London. This phone is a beast and will be launching in Europe on May 29th. The S3 is expected to reach  the United States in June. The device features a large 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD display, 1GB of RAM, a fast 1.4GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, and much more.

Along with the announcement, Samsung has also released a short video showing off some of the new features available for the device. I’m really digging the pop up feature which allows you to text without interrupting your movie! The S3 looks to be faster than the S2 and packs all kinds of awesome new stuff. This video is definitely worth a watch, check it out below.
