I really wanted to get a hold on my budget year. In fact, my resolutions for this year were to go through everything I pay for with a fine tooth comb to make sure that I am getting the best deal possible. I am about 90 percent done with that goal, and had just a few more things to look at before the last day of December gets here. My most recent account to look at was my cable account. I dug around on the Internet and saw that http://www.cable-tv.com/cox/ would be able to help me.
The website laid everything out in an easy to understand way so that I could see what was available to me, versus the very little I knew about my very own account. I really like things to be brief, so when I set up service, I rushed the conversation along as quickly as I could do that I could get off the phone more quickly. This is not so smart to do, and I understand that. That is another reason I vowed to take a look at my spending and make sure I was not over-paying.
I ended up realizing that it would be a fantastic idea for me to switch over to satellite service as quickly as possible. I bought a 60 inch HD television last year, and I found out that if I switch, I will have a very large number of HD channels that I can watch any time I want to. I would also get access to try out several of the major movie channels for free for several months, too. When I originally started my cable account, I was not given this option. Because of that, I chose not to go with any because I really did not know what they are about. Now, I don’t, and I am keeping two of them as a result.
