Here’s an app we don’t see everyday that’s really pushing the boundaries of whats possible with augmented reality technology. Have you considered purchasing a larger than average Android device such as the Galaxy Note II, but concerned it might be too much with it’s beastly screen size? Well with HandsonAR you can get an idea of just how it will look in your hand.

Currently the app will show off a few specific devices, including the Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note II, Nexus 7, LG Optimus VU/Intution, and the Nokia Lumia 920. Check out the video to see exactly how it works:

 

 

 

To get going with HandsonAR, simply print this marker, load HandsonAR, choose the device you’d like to check out, and simply hit “AR View.” As shown in the video next you’ll point your camera at the printed marker and just like that you get a glimpse of the chosen device. Pretty freaking sick right? The app is free, and anyone who tries this out please let us know in the comments how well it works.
